We are planning to make quilts with the orphans in Samara. I have been cutting fabric for days! Several people have donated money for me to buy fabric. Sally and Nancy from my Bible study helped me cut fabric one Saturday afternoon. So far we have 11 quilts ready to be stitched. I have the fabric ready for several more, but it still not enough. As you can see, the quilts have overtaken my kitchen. Oh well, dinner is not really important anyway.

I am so concerned about how we are going to get all of our gifts to Samara. Now just think about this:
  • 20 quilts
  • 120 scarves
  • more than 120 hats
  • more than 120 gloves
  • 60 hacky sacks
  • 120 beany babies
  • lots of lotions
  • lots of chap sticks
  • 60 baseball caps
  • and probably other things that I am forgetting
Now do you see why I am concerned?? Caralee says not to worry, so there you go! I guess we will manage. How? We will see??!! I know one thing, while we are doing it we will have a great time and will praise the Lord for the opportunity and the wealth that he has provided us!
